ESO 4: MAGAZINE - MIKA

Section 1: Hi World!

I think this part it's quite good but I didn't find anything interesting in this page apart from the Book of the month which says " After 6 mons and 218 kisses Zoe is heartbroken when her boyfriend, Henry suddenly dumps her. Henry says he doesn't want a girlfriend because he wants to focus on his band. Zoe's best friends invent a plan to help her to get him back.
They plan to make Henry jealous, but don't go exacly as they imagined..:" It's an interesting book, a little boring but quite interesting".

Section 2: Cinema!

This section talks about new films and the on im intersted in is "Everest" which says: this film is based on the terrible Mount Everest Disaster of 1996 when eight people trying to reach the summit died in a blizzard. The two expedition groups were guided by experienced climbers and they all showed great courage and determination to survie. But nothing could have preapred them for Everest.

Section 3: Mika!

I liked this part because I didn't know much about him. One of the things that impressed me was his new album: On his new album, No Place in Heaven, Mika uses song and lyrincs as if he is writing a diary. It is perhaps his most intimate album, with themes like love, family and personal struggle. Mika creates tunes that get stuck in you head for days from catchy pop hits like "Talk About You", "Rio", "All She Wants"... to melodical piano ballads "Last Party", "Ordinary Man".

Section 5: Times Square

I didn't find this part interesting because I know much of the information but one of the things that impressed me was: Times Square is always full of yellow taxis. They drop people at the theatre and at the cinema at all hours of the day and night!

FASHIONABLE RATS!

• New York. 

Rats are in Vogue. Literally. According to several reports, a significant number of the rodents have been making themselves at home in Vogue's new offices at One World Trade Center. The rodents, it seems, are particulary interested in the fashion magazine's legendary accessories cupboard, where they have chewed their way into several shoe boxes. Clearly, New York's rate have expensive taste.

GOOGLE GLASS ADDICTION

San Diego, California.

Doctors have indentified the first known case of Google Glass addiction: a 31-year-old US military man who initially checked into the US Navy's Substance Abuse and Recovery Programme for alcoholism treatment. Denied access to electronic devices, doctors noted that the patient "exhibited intense frustration and irritability related to not being able to use his Google Glass". The patient would also involuntary tap his temple with his finger, the action used to activate the device. The man was using the device for up to 18 hours a day. 

THE MAZE RUNNER

NO KISS: 

Dylan's character has a strong connection with Teresa, the only girl of the Glade, played by Kaya Scodelario (Skins). "But there is no kiss at the end. I really like that about the story. it's really unconventional, you know. But it's so sweet. It's more about the connection, a love that is not the cliché-like romance. Because, frankly, why would we be having a relationship during wha'ts happiening? You don't have time to flirt. We shot a scene where I was talking with Teresa, and we have a moment, flirt a bit and it was so wrong... I didn't want to shoot it. I was like 'Shouldn't I be getting out to the maze? Saving our lives, instead of flirting?' And Wes (the director) cut it. It's so beautiful in that sense. Firstly, people will be rooting for mor if we don't kiss. We are connected a sort of internal, wired connection. It's more intense"

THE DON'T DO IT SELFIE

Miley, Miley,... who's holding the camera? Think it through - either you believe we are very, very stupid or you are so obsessed with yourself that you are genuinely taking selfies in your sleep. Whichever it is, is this really something you want to advertise?

DANCE OF SHADOWS

Vanessa is accepted at a ballet academy in New York.She wants to be a famous ballerina - but she also wants to find her sister who disappeared mysteriously from the same dancing school. Soon, the enigmatic choreographer ask Vanessa to dance a lead role. Should she accept?

HALLOWEEN DOG PARADE

At Halloween, people wear costumes and have fun. But, in New York, people put their dogs in costumes too! There's a dog parade in the city with 4,000 dollars in prizes for the best costumes. Some dogs, and their owners, wear ghost and witch costumes, but other dress as Batman, King Kong or Mario Brothers!

KUNG FU IN THE AIR

Flight attendants in Chine are learning how to "calm" passengers: with kung fu! 20,000 new students are discovering how to use the ancient martial art to control difficult travellers. They are learning special techniques that can be used on aeroplanes!
