Doctors have indentified the first known case of Google Glass addiction: a 31-year-old US military man who initially checked into the US Navy's Substance Abuse and Recovery Programme for alcoholism treatment. Denied access to electronic devices, doctors noted that the patient "exhibited intense frustration and irritability related to not being able to use his Google Glass". The patient would also involuntary tap his temple with his finger, the action used to activate the device. The man was using the device for up to 18 hours a day.
